Palm Beach Airport Code Changing from PBI to DJT
As you may be aware, Palm Beach International Airport has been renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport, and its IATA airport code will change from PBI to DJT on August 18, 2026. You can read the airport's official announcement for more information.
Action required for Lumo real-time alerts
If you have registered trips for Lumo real-time alerts (via API webhooks or for Lumo Navigator) using the PBI airport code, you will need to re-register those trips using DJT. To ensure consistency between our systems and yours, Lumo will not automatically update existing subscriptions from PBI to DJT on our end. Please update the airport code in the PNR and ensure that this data is pushed to us to ensure things are in sync.
Lumo predictions during the transition
Prediction availability for DJT may be inconsistent immediately following the change while Lumo's data pipelines and prediction models adapt to the new airport code. When a Lumo prediction is available, you can continue to rely on it; however, predictions may not initially be available for every DJT flight.
We're working to make the transition as smooth as possible. Airport-code changes propagate across a complex network of airlines, airports and third-party data providers, and not every system will necessarily update at the same time.
As a result, you may experience some gaps in predictions or real-time alerts for flights involving PBI/DJT around August 18. We appreciate your patience while the aviation data ecosystem—and Lumo—completes the transition.
